THE EXPEDITION
The equipe is made up of 6 alpine guides and a medical-scientific staff
Objectives: logistics /assistance/ research

The group's primary goal is to put Brunod into optimal condition so as to have the greatest possible chance of accomplishing the climb. In addition to following the athlete during the period of acclimatisation and approach, the six guides will need to formulate a mountain assistance project to be enacted during the record attempt.
They will organise supplies, hot beverage stations, the possibility for clothing changes and, of utmost importance above 800 meters, a rapid intervention plan if Brunod is in need of assistance.
At this phase of the ascent the guides and their four high altitude sherpas will use supplementary oxygen in order to ensure their efficiency.
If Brunod succeeds in his attempt, the expedition will include a second phase. Since all of the guides are licensed climbers, those who wish to do so will have their own opportunity to climb Mt. Everest.
